Though I’m not 100% sure on who I would like to vote for, I have a strong leaning towards Obama. I agree with some things McCain says and some things Obama says, but I just can’t bring myself to vote for someone who is elderly, sickly, and with a Vice President that I seem to oppose on everything. So thank you, McCain, for making my voting choice much easier by selecting Palin so that I would do anything to not have her in the White House and have her waiting in line for the Presidency.
I just can’t get over her hypocrisy. She believes in Creationism and abstinence-only sex education and wants to put that in our public schools. Firstly, she believes in this and yet she got pregnant at 17 out of wedlock and so did her daughter. Who says you can’t judge a person by the actions of their children? Also, I’m all for people believing in what they want to believe in, but that’s what private schools are for–I don’t want my child’s education to be compromised at that expense.
Also, I missed last election by a few weeks and I want to be able to have a say in this year’s.
Even though I know that in the end my vote won’t really count. (Plus, my parents’ trying to force me to vote for McCain just pushes me further away)
So, I’ve re-registered to vote (I moved counties) and I plan to hit the polls in November, do you?
